The IMO/IWMA Scaling Research Project

The scaling project was a research project sponsored and organized by IWMA on „The Scaling of Fire Suppression Characteristics in Machinery Spaces“, carried out on behalf of IMO (International Maritime Organization). The result was that in certain spaces – like machinery spaces – it is better to use less water. It was presented at IMO in London in 2009.
