The 26th International Water Mist Conference #IWMC2027 will take place in Paris, France, on 6th and 7th October 2027!

The schedule:

  • 15th December 2026: Publication of the call for papers & the sponsorship booking forms
  • 31st March 2027: Deadline to hand in submissions to apply for The Ragnar Wighus Award 2027 / Ph.D.  
  • 15th April 2027: Activation of the #IWMC2027 conference webpage and start of ticket sales
  • 15th April 2027: Abstract deadline
  • 15th May 2027: Speakers will be notified about acceptance of their abstract.
  • 31st May 2027: Publication of the #IWMC2026 programme
  • 15th June 2027: The name of the winner of The Ragnar Wighus Award / Ph.D. will be announced.
  • 5th August 2027: The invitation to the 2027 IWMA Member Meeting together with the draft agenda for the meeting will be circulated (from this point onwards members can suggest topics for the member meeting / deadline: 10th September 2027).
  • 15th August 2027: End of the early bird period (23.59 CEST)
  • 10th September 2027: Last day to hand in topics for the IWMA 2027 Member Meeting
  • 17th September 2027: The final version of the agenda of the 2027 IWMA Member Meeting will be circulated.
  • 30th September 2027: The final versions of presentations are due.
  • 1st October 2027 (noon): The ticket shop will be closed.
  • 5th October 2027: 2027 IWMA Member Meeting
  • 6th & 7th October 2027: 26th International Water Mist Conference
