- 15th January 2024: publication of the call for papers
- 15th January 2024: publication of the sponsorship booking forms
- 29th March 2024: deadline to hand in submissions to apply for the IWMA Young Talent Award 2024 / Master
- 15th May 2024: abstract deadline
- 15th May 2024: activation of the #IWMC2024 conference webpage
- 31st May 2024: the name of the winner of the Ragnar Wighus Award / Master will be announced
- 1st July 2024: speakers will be notified about acceptance of their abstract
- 17th July 2024: the invitation to the 2024 IWMA Member Meeting together with the draft agenda for the meeting will be circulated (from this point onwards members can suggest topics for the member meeting)
- 1st August 2024: publication of the #IWMC2024 programme
- 14th August 2024: end of the early bird period (noon CEST)
- 27th August 2024: last day to hand in topics for the IWMA 2024 Member Meeting
- 3rd September 2024: the final version of the agenda of the 2024 IWMA Member Meeting will be circulated
- 10th September 2024: the final versions of presentations are due
- 13th September 2024 (noon): the registration tool will be closed
- 17th September 2024: 2024 IWMA Member Meeting
- 18th & 19th September 2024: 23rd International Water Mist Conference
