IWMA Member VID Fire-Kill obtains new FM Approval ...

... in the local application hazard category

VID Fire-Kill have announced that their FIREKILL™ LAK-7 low pressure water mist system has obtained FM Approval in the local application hazard category.

VID Fire-Kill report: "The LAK-7 local application system covers industrial hazards such as steam turbines,
diesel generators, oil skids, and other high-risk machinery in large industrial spaces.

The system operates at a water pressure of 8-9 bar which reduces the power needed to run the pumps.
In addition, the low pressure water mist system uses less water compared to traditional deluge systems.
This does not just minimize the risk of damage to machinery, but it also makes it a more cost effective
and sustainable solution."
