"Danfoss Fire Safety A/S is pleased to announce the succesfull closure of its sale to Siemens Smart Infrastructure, effective December 2024. This follows the agreement initially announced on October 8, 2024.
As a result of this acquisition, Danfoss Fire Safety A/S for now, continues to operate as a seperate entity under the name "SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S".
Since December 2024, SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S is fully owned by Siemens and reports to the Fire Safety Business which is part of the Buildings Business Unit at Siemens Smart Infrastructure.
SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S and Siemens share a joint committment to advancing fire suppression technology. The combination of Siemens' expertise and leading position with SEM-SAFE's high-pressure water mist and low-pressure CO2 technologies enables us to further develop our solutions and further expand to relevant markets and fast growing industries, such as data centres, industrial process spaces, and tunnels.
The complimentary technologies of SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S and Siemens create a robust end-to-end fire safety offering that tackles both early detection and effective suppression, enhancing protection for people, assets, and infrastructure."
