As was announced by IBS Institut für Brandschutztechnik und Sicherheitsforschung via Linkedin, their member of staff Georg Dammayr passed away on 6th September. Suddenly and unexpted.
The IWMA committee members and members of IWMA wish to express their deepest condolences. Many have known Georg personally, have worked with him and have appreciated the expert as well as the great guy he was.
Georg attended the International Water Mist Conference on a regular basis and had already bought his ticket for this year's event in Copenhagen.
His successor as expert for approval test of water extinguishing systems is Wolfgang Reichör.
