The 25th International Water Mist Conference (#IWMC2026) will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 7th and 8th October 2026.

- 15th December 2025: publication of the call for papers & publication of the sponsorship booking forms
- 31st March 2026: deadline to hand in submissions to apply for The Ragnar Wighus Award 2026 / Master. For details, please click HERE!
- 1st April 2026: activation of the #IWMC2026 conference webpage and start of ticket sales
- 15th April 2026: abstract deadline
- 15th June 2026: the name of the winner of The Ragnar Wighus Award / Master will be announced & speakers will be notified about acceptance of their abstract
- 1st July 2026: publication of the #IWMC2026 programme
- 6th August 2026: the invitation to the 2026 IWMA Member Meeting together with the draft agenda for the meeting will be circulated (from this point onwards members can suggest topics for the member meeting / until 10th September 2026)
- 15th August 2026: end of the early bird period (23.59 CEST)
- 10th September 2026: last day to hand in topics for the IWMA 2026 Member Meeting
- 17th September 2026: the final version of the agenda of the 2026 IWMA Member Meeting will be circulated
- 1st October 2026: the final versions of presentations are due
- 2nd October 2026 (noon): the ticket shop will be closed
- 6th October 2026: 2026 IWMA Member Meeting
- 7th & 8th October 2026: 25th International Water Mist Conference
