IWMA at the 2024 NFPA Event in Orlando

IWMA was granted a 90-Minute Slot to present Water Mist to the Attendees of the NFPA Show in Orlando, Florida

On 19th June at 2 p.m. in the afternoon, IWMA had the opportunity to hold a water mist session at and NFPA event for the very first time. The title of the session was: "How Water Mist works and where it can be applied?"

The speakers were:

Bettina McDowell, IWMA. The title of her presentation: "How Water Mist Works"

Miguel Martinez, VID Firekill, spoke about the protection of data centres with water mist.

Melisa Rodriguez, Johnson Controls International, gave a presentation on water mist for industrial oil fryers (replacing CO2 with water mist)

Rüdiger Kopp (Fogtec) presented a case study and talked about a project in the Netherlands where Fogtec istalled a high-pressure water mist system into a hospital.

The final speaker was Bogdan Raciega (Baltic Fire Laboratory) whose presentation dealt with the protection of aircraft hangars.

About 140 people attended this IWMA event.
