Not yet during the member meeting but still in Berlin at the 19th International Water Mist Conference, Ann Micheli (Ultrafog) applied for a seat on the IWMA board of directors. Ms Micheli was subsequently elected by mouse-click during an online vote which was carried out at the beginning of November.
Ms Micheli says about herself: "I came to the Fire Suppression Industry in 2004 as sales and marketing manager of a marine-based clean agent fire suppression company in Italy. It was here, as account manager for Autronica’s Flexifog system, that I gained my first watermist experience. In 2010, I negotiated and performed due diligence on Ultra Fog AB, and subsequently became Managing Director in 2012, where I am principally responsible for company administration, restructuring and business development. In my past career I have coordinated various EU-funded programmes in the areas of European social and economic cohesion, SME diversification and internationalization, environmental education and lifelong learning/skills evaluation."
