In 2017 IWMA will again offer the "IWMA Young Talent Award".

In 2017 IWMA will again offer the "IWMA Young Talent Award". In 2016 it went to Daniel Martin for his master thesis entitled: "The Use of a Water Mist Curtain as a Radiation Shield". Daniel Martin was indeed the first ever winner of this award.

Unlike in 2016, the 2017 Award will go to the person handing in the best Ph.D. thesis. The prize includes an invitation to the 17th International Water Mist Conference, which in 2017 will take place in Rome, a slot to present the thesis, travel and accommodation expenses, one year free IWMA membership and a prize money of 1,000.- €.
